I was talking to some family and friends about smiling despite the fact that people can't see your smile under a mask. We came to the conclusion that just because someone can't see your smile, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. When you smile, your body language and tone of voice reflect how you are feeling and others can sense that positive energy! Continue to build that habit and smile anyways. When it's finally time to take the mask off, you will be ready to share your SMILE with others, like the pup pictured above!
I have learned about the concept of choosing "one word" for the new year. The word can apply to multiple aspects in your life. The purpose is to select a word that will help you be a better version of yourself. For 2021, I have chosen the word:
Choosing to have an optimistic outlook in life is easier said than done, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it's very important!
We need to believe things will get better.
We need to believe in ourselves.
We need to believe in each other.
I BELIEVE in you!
What word are you going to choose?
Cheers to 2021. Take it day by day, brick by brick...and remember to believe!
