Why?
It allows everyone a chance to speak.
It brings great ideas to the group.
It creates ownership because everyone will have to agree before moving forward.
And?
It builds trust.
And when you have trust within a group, amazing things can happen.
On a basketball team, if you have four coaches, three managers, and thirteen players, I like to say, "twenty brains is better than one." On our teams, we let everyone use their voice if they have something they feel will benefit the team. It would be a disservice to the group to not operate that way.
