January - Time to build better habits!

The start of the new year can serve, for some people, as an extra boost of motivation to try something new, be more consistent, etc.
Personally, that past few years, I have struggled to remain consistent in the weight room during the busy basketball season. So much of my time and energy goes into work and coaching that I have always made excuses to not be as consistent.
One of my friends recommended an app that he has used for a few years that provides the exercises and tracks the weights/reps. I bought the app and made the commitment to going at least three days a week, and specifically, working out the morning of every game day (a few of those were just stretching days haha but I did SOMETHING active and that was the goal).
Whatever it is that you have wanted to do, give it a shot. You may surprise yourself! And if you fail, you can be proud that you chose to "fail forward" instead of not trying at all.
