"So I've been hearing this phrase y'all got over here that I ain't too crazy about. 'It's the hope that kills you.' Y'all know that? I disagree, you know? I think it's the lack of hope that comes and gets you." - Ted Lasso
Positivity is so important to me as I know it to a lot of people I am grateful to have in my circle. I believe being positive is like a muscle, you have to use it consistently to strengthen it! It's relatively easy to tell if I or someone else is being positive or negative.
Asking someone how their day is going, holding the door open, bringing energy, being optimistic....those are evident directly in those moments. However, having belief requires being patient and having faith that your intentional actions and words will have a positive impact on others, even if we don't see the impact right away. I think now, more than ever, believing in ourselves and others is truly needed. The past few years have been tough on most of us. If WE (all of us) can help serve others by believing in them, we will have made a positive difference in their lives, and shouldn't that be our collective mission?
Well I'm pumped up :)
Thank you for reading and please feel free to reach out if I can help in anyway!
Sending positive vibes,
