"Sweep the sheds" - James Kerr

One of the most powerful lessons from one of my favorite books, Legacy, is the All Blacks' philosophy of Sweep the Sheds.”

The idea is simple: no one is too important to do the little things.

It’s about humility, responsibility, and understanding that leadership isn't about being above others, it's about serving others.

  • Do the little things.

  • Take responsibility.

  • Put the team first.

  • Don't expect someone else to do what you're unwilling to do yourself.

  • Stay humble, regardless of your success.

The best leaders don't just talk about the standard, they live the standard.

No matter how successful you become, never be too important to sweep the sheds.

Thank you for reading and please feel free to reach out if I can help in anyway!

Sending positive vibes,

Dan
